Who we are

Helios Ventures B.V. ("Helios", "we") is a private investment company registered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, investing directly in renewable energy, battery storage and digital infrastructure across the Netherlands, Romania and Türkiye. We are the controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

We collect personal data only when you contact us through one of our two website forms. We do not run user accounts, take payments, or knowingly collect special categories of data.

LP / Co-Investor Inquiry: name, organization, email. Project Partnership: name, organization, email, project country. We also process whatever you include in your message. We do not store your data in a database and do not log your IP address.

Why we use it & legal basis

We use your data to read, assess and respond to your enquiry and to manage any business relationship that follows.

Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in handling professional B2B enquiries; where a specific transaction develops, steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). We will not use your details for marketing without your separate consent.

Recipients & processors

Your enquiry is handled by us and by service providers acting on our instructions: OXIO Solutions (our agency, operates the site and processes enquiry notifications — our processor under a written agreement); Hostinger (outbound email/SMTP); Google (Gmail/Workspace mailbox); our hosting provider (EU region). We do not sell your data.

International transfers

When your enquiry notification reaches a Google-hosted mailbox, your data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses, with encryption in transit. You may request a copy of the safeguards via the contact above.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship: deleted within [12 months] of last contact. Enquiries that lead to a business relationship: retained for the relationship's duration and up to [7 years] afterwards, per Dutch statutory retention. If analytics is enabled, analytics data is retained 14 months.

Your rights

You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing (including objecting to legitimate-interest processing), and request portability. Where processing is based on consent (analytics), you may withdraw it anytime. Contact [privacy@heliosvc.nl]; we respond within one month. You may also complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
